Seamless high-temperature tubes and furnace tubes suitable for use in applications with temperatures above 500ºC (932ºF).

The Sandvik program of high-temperature tubes includes a wide range of austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys as well as iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) alloys, which can be used at temperatures up to 1250ºC (2280ºF).

Furnace tubes

Extruded tubes made from Kanthal APMT and Kanthal APM iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) and nickel-chromium (NiCr) alloys for gas-heated or electrically heated furnaces.

Kanthal furnace tubes can be used at temperatures up to 1250°C (2280°F) and are available in sizes from 26 to 260 mm (1.02-10.2 in.) outside diameter. Kanthal APM and Kanthal APMT furnace tubes, as well as other Sandvik high-temperature tubes, are suitable for use as, for example:

Radiant tubes (radiation tubes)
Thermocouple protection tubes
Muffle tubes
Atmosphere sampling tubes
Gas injection tubes
Burner nozzles
Kanthal furnace tubes are also used as construction material in various furnace applications.

Longer service life with Kanthal FeCrAl alloys
Kanthal APM and Kanthal APMT iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) alloys offer several advantages compared to other tube materials such as alumina, silicon carbide and nickel-chromium (NiCr) alloys. User benefits include superior resistance to, for example, carburization, thermal shock, sagging and distortion.
