You can depend on Celsius 355 to perform in even the most arduous conditions. A hot finished hollow section, Celsius 355 is the product to choose for all critical applications where failure is simply not an option.
Hot Finished : Celsius 355 - Hot Finished Structural Hollow Sections
Celsius® 355 is a high strength hot finished hollow section that is suitable for all construction and mechanical applications. It is also suitable for all internal and external applications to BS5950-1:2000, EN1993 and BS5400.
Our Celsius® 355 product is the Ultimate Structural Hollow Section and is a hot finished product that offers a wide range of benefits. Made exclusively from normalised, fine grain steel with a yield strength of 355 N/mm2.
Celsius® 355 is fully stress-relieved with uniform mechanical properties and manufactured to the standard grade EN 10210 S355 NH. Other grades, including those with improved impact qualities are available on request.
The strength and weldable qualities of Celsius® 355 mean that it can be used for all structural and mechanical applications, including multi-storey columns, space frames, lattice beams and frames for machinery and trailers.
Celsius® 355 is available in:
Circular sizes from 21.3 OD x 3.2 - 508.0 OD x 16.0
Larger circular sizes from 508 up to and including 2134mm diameter are also available.
Square sizes from 40 x 40 x 2.5 - 400 x 400 x 16.0
Rectangular sizes from 50 x 30 x 3.2 - 500 x 300 x 20
Oval sizes from 150 x 75 x 4 - 500 x 250 x 16
'Jumbo' sizes are also available on request : 350 x 350 x 19 - 800 x 800 x 60.
Most sizes can be made in lengths 6m - 14.5m, depending on the size and thickness
Length tolerance is +150mm /-0mm
Supplied self-colour
Supplied with plain ends unless otherwise specified
Celsius® is supplied with an inspection certificate to EN 10204 type 3.1
Hot Finished : Celsius 355 elliptical sections
The geometry of the elliptical sections, combined with its aesthetic appearance makes it an exciting section for architects to work with.
Celsius® Ellipticals are manufactured to the same mechanical and dimensional requirements as Celsius® 355 hot finished hollow sections, to a standard grade of EN10210 S355NH. A true elliptical section with a 2:1 ratio of major to minor axes dimensions. Sizes range from 150 x 75 x 4.0mm to 500 x 250 x 16mm.

Cold Formed : Hybox 355
Hybox 355
Hybox® 355 is one of the cold formed hollow sections included in our Cold Form Business UK range.
With minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm², Hybox® 355 is classified as a high strength cold formed hollow section suitable for use in construction and mechanical applications where controlled specifications and associated design regulations apply.
Hybox® 355 fully complies with the European Standard for cold formed structural hollow sections, EN10219 S355 J2H and is used in a wide range of construction and mechanical related applications including wind bracing and machinery.
Available in sizes from 26.9 x 2.0 OD up to and including 508.0 x 16 OD in our circular hollow sections range and from 25 x 25 x 2.0 up to and including 300 x 300 x 12.5 and the equivalent rectangles in our rectangular hollow section range.
Hybox® 355 is supplied with a test report 3.1B to EN10204. Standard lengths are 7.5 metres and 12.0 metres, with special mill lengths from 6 metres up to 18m available by arrangement.
Cold Formed : Strongbox® 235
Cold formed hollow sections are suitable for use in a wide range of multi-purpose applications of a non-critical nature.
With minimum yeild strength of 235N/mm, Strongbox® 235 is suitable for use in non-load bearing applications.
Strongbox® 235 fully complies with the dimensional tolerances of the European standard for cold formed hollow sections, EN10219, excluding mass.
Available in sizes from 33.7 x 3.0 OD up to and including 139.7 x 6.0 OD in our circular hollow sections range and from 25 x 25 x 2.0 up to and including 150 x 150 x 8.0 and the equivalent rectangles in our rectangular hollow sections range.
Strongbox® 235 is supplied with a test report 2.2 to EN10204. Standard lengths are 7.5 metres, with special mill lengths from 6 metres up to 14 metres available by arrangement.
